Residential Energy Star Appliance Program
Objective
The objective of the Residential Energy Star Appliance Program is to increase the adoption of high efficiency ENERGY STAR appliances.
Eligibility
You must be a Cherryland Electric Cooperative Member.
New ENERGY STAR appliance purchased to replace existing non-ENERGY STAR appliances
New ENERGY STAR appliance purchased for new home construction
You must own the appliance being purchased

Cherryland Electric Cooperative reserves the right to deny payment of a an appliance rebate for any appliance, qualifying or not, for any reason

Rebate Details
Clothes Washer Rebate Program
- New clothes washer must be Energy Star rated
- New clothes washer must have a Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of two (2) or greater or have a TIER rating of two (2) or greater.
- Cherryland Electric will not remove the old unit but requires proof of disposal.
- Member must complete rebate form and provide Cherryland with original receipt and Energy Star label. Receipt and label will be returned to member.
- Cherryland Electric reserves the right to inspect site for completed installation.
Rebate amount depends upon the type of water heater and dryer connected to the clothes washer

Refrigerator Replacement Rebate Program
- New refrigerator must be Energy Star rated
- Old refrigerator must have been manufactured prior to 1990 and larger than 14 cubic feet
- New refrigerator must be between 14 and 27 cubic feet
- Member must complete rebate form and provide Cherryland with original receipt and Energy Star label for new refrigerator. Receipt and label will be returned to member. Member must also provide Cherryland Electric with description of the old unit – make, model, year, serial number, size, etc.
- Cherryland Electric reserves the right to inspect site for completed installation

- $25 for a qualifying Dehumidifier
- $25 for a qualifying Dishwasher rated Tier 2 EF > 0.68
- $15 for a qualifying Ceiling fan with light fixture
