Residential Home Audit Program
Objective
The objective of the Residential Home Audit Program is to give Cooperative members the knowledge and tools they need to make intelligent energy saving choices. Program focuses on home and appliance performance as well as personal behavioral patterns. Member participation is required.
Eligibility
You must be a Cherryland Electric Cooperative Member
Program Progression – 9 Step Program
1. Member completes on-line home energy audit. Please make a record of the session number provided at the end of the audit. You will need to give this number to Cherryland Electric.
2. When audit is completed, member sends audit session number to Cherryland Electric Cooperative
3. Cherryland begins capturing hourly meter readings for member once email (step 2) received and processed
4. Member begins logging daily activities that require the use of electricity (downloadable form)
5. After one week member provides copy of daily activity log to Cherryland
6. Cherryland matches activity log against hourly meter reading
7. Cherryland prepares report and schedules an on-site meeting with member
8. Member and representative from Cherryland meet to review report and perform a courtesy on-site walk through of the home.
9. Cherryland will assist member in determining if additional auditing is useful.
Rebate
Members completing the 9 step audit process will receive an Energy Efficiency / Weatherization kit ($25.00 value)
Single Purpose Audit - $50.00 (two audits maximum per membership)
Comprehensive Full Home Audit - $150.00 (one per membership)
