Energy Fair will help you save money on your bill
As a cooperative, we are interested in saving our members some money. After all, our members are our owners.
With that in mind, we will host an Energy Fair that will deal with how you can conserve energy and reduce your electric bill.
We will hold a Home Energy Fair on Thursday, Oct. 16 from 3 to 8 p.m. here at Cherryland. We are located at 5730 U.S. 31 South in Grawn.
The Energy Fair will give you a chance to listen to speakers, visit with vendors and even grab a bite to eat in between sessions. We are offering what we call Energy Tracks, meaning we will have multiple speakers coming for each of three different topics. You can choose what speaker you want to hear and when.
Here are the three different topics:
· Lighting: Here members will learn from lighting experts about what types of lighting is offered for today’s homes and the benefits of each type.
· Energy Use: Want to reduce your electric bill? This is the track for you. I will talk about the various ways to increase efficiency in your home, what common “high-usage culprits” you might have and even get a chance to have a little Q & A with one of our most knowledgeable employees.
· Heating & Cooling: Learn about our dual-fuel rate, what local heating companies may be offering and what else you may not know about the process of getting electric heating/cooling in your home.
We think anyone who attends this fair – and uses these energy tips – will start to see a difference in their electric bill.
If you plan on attending, please call (231) 486-9494 today to reserve your spot.
